Welcome to “Breathe: Healthy Steps to Living Tobacco Free!”  Breathe is a program funded by the Indiana Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Commission (TPC). Partner organizations that have completed a Breathe training may access and utilize the following digital materials. (If your organization has not completed a Breathe training or would like hard copies of these materials, please contact Tanya Shelburne at tanyas@healthedpros.org.) Our Breathe Flyer and Breathe Promotional video provide additional information about Breathe and the Breathe kits.

Our Pocket Guides are another way to have tobacco education resources at your fingertips!  The Pocket Guide – For Partners is small and easy to keep on hand so you always have access to the online Breathe resources. Keep a small stack of the Pocket Guide – Quitting Tips handy to be ready to share quick tips and tobacco cessation resources with parents.

NEW!!  We now have a section of the Breathe website dedicated specifically for Parents/Caregivers! Parent/Caregiver Surveys

Please help us collect meaningful data through our online Parent/Caregiver Survey. The feedback we receive will help us modify and improve the Breathe program. As an incentive, any parent/guardian who completes a survey (and provides their contact information) will be entered into our monthly drawing for a $50 Walmart gift card through the end of May 2027!

There are multiple ways the surveys can be administered, so determine a plan that works best for your organization:

  • Surveys could be completed during enrollment, at parent nights, at community events/health fairs, during parent-teacher conferences, at home visits, in one-on-one or group settings, etc.
  • You could also share links to the survey on social media, in your organization’s newsletters, in a parent email, or by posting flyers where parents/caregivers would see them.

PowerPoint Presentation for Parents/Guardians or General Community Education

This PowerPoint Presentation can be used to educate parents/guardians and other caregivers or the general community about tobacco and includes resources that support healthy families. Feel free to contact Health Ed Pros or your local tobacco control specialist if you would like someone to conduct a community presentation in your area.
