Additional activities, beyond the explicitly required deliverables, should be taken on by those funded partners with established relationships and/or those with the capacity, time, and manpower to develop deeper partnerships.
Enhanced Activities with Head Start and similar partners may include:
- Initiating a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
- Reviewing and advising on the partner’s tobacco policy
- Reviewing and advising on tobacco questions to add to the partner’s health assessment forms
- Providing Parent/Community and/or Student Education
- Serving on a Head Start/Organization’s relevant committee
- Signing the partner up as a Quit Now Indiana Champion Employer
- Developing relationships with additional partners, beyond the required deliverables
